AwithGanna Community Agreement & Terms of Service

1. Truthfulness and Authenticity

For Givers: You agree that the photos and descriptions (condition, specs, and battery life) of the laptop you list are accurate and honest.

For Receivers: You agree that your "Reason for Request" is truthful and that any credibility documents (Grama Niladhari letters, school IDs, etc.) are authentic and belong to you.

2. The "No-Resale" Rule

This platform is built on the spirit of giving. You explicitly agree that any laptop received through AwithGanna is for personal or educational use only. It is strictly prohibited to sell, pawn, or trade a laptop received through this platform for monetary gain.

3. Safety and Personal Responsibility

AwithGanna is a matching platform; we do not facilitate the physical delivery of laptops.

• You agree to arrange handovers in public, well-lit places (e.g., a library, a café, or a bank lobby).
• You understand that you meet other users at your own risk.
• AwithGanna is not responsible for any disputes, damages, or safety issues that occur during or after a physical meeting.

4. No Warranty or Liability

Laptops shared here are "as-is" donations. Givers are not providing a warranty, and AwithGanna is not responsible if a laptop stops working after the handover.

AwithGanna and its volunteer team are not liable for any loss of data, hardware failure, or technical issues resulting from the use of shared devices.

5. Verification and Privacy

You grant AwithGanna permission to review your uploaded documents (identity or credibility proofs) for the sole purpose of approving your request.

We promise never to sell your data. Your contact information will only be shared with another user once a "match" has been approved and both parties are notified.

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to remove any listing or ban any user who is found to be providing false information, harassing other members, or attempting to use the platform for commercial profit.
